Short, because very little happens.

Nothing on this site tracks you. If you write to us, we use your email to answer — and never sell it or hand it to anyone else.

Nothing is collected while you browse.

No cookies, no analytics, no advertising or social trackers. The text, typeface and images on this site are served by us — not by third-party networks — so browsing it sends nothing about you anywhere else.

Your email is used to answer you.

When you send a message to jan@neatmarine.eu, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it for one purpose: to reply, and to continue the conversation you started.

Only Neat Marine.

We don't sell, rent or trade contact details, and we don't pass them to third parties. The services that carry our email and host this site process data on our behalf and for that purpose alone.

As long as the conversation stays open.

We keep a message while it's useful to us both. Ask, and we delete it — no process, no forms.

You stay in control.

You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it removed. If you think we've handled it badly, you can complain to Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), Sweden's data protection authority.

A note on technical logs.

Our hosting provider may briefly record technical details such as an IP address to keep the site running and secure. It isn't used to identify or profile visitors.

If how we handle details ever changes, this page changes with it. Last updated 3 October 2026.
